Hi St. Peter's Anglican Church,

What a day.

I just got back to my hotel room here in Uganda.

It’s late, but I can’t sleep without sharing this with you.

Today, the taps were turned on for phase one of the project in Irimya!

I remember the first time we visited this community - driving through thick forest, beyond the beaten path - in hopes of helping extend clean water.

And hope we did.

This project had plenty of twists and turns along the way - impossibilities and disappointments. Plus, an incredible amount of persistence and the help of many, many hands, including yours.

Now, as of today, 7,000 people, including Gloria & Rosette, are drinking clean, safe water close to home!

The celebration was powerful… and also 4 hours looong. (You can watch the 40-second version HERE.)

It was a huge deal for this community and our team, and it was a perfect example of the momentous impact you’re generosity is having.

Good things are happening In Irimya. And good things are still to come.

Thank you for opening your heart to these families in their time of need.

The water is now in their hands, and I'm off to bed,
- Jeff

PS. You’ve stepped up for the families of Irimya, showing them your kindness and compassion. As of today, 7,000 more people, including Gloria & Rosette, now know the taste and sound of clean water: for LIFE! Take a look at the celebration and taps turning on here: link to video.
