Back around 1978, when the "new" organ was installed at St. Peter's, the old pump organ was re-homed at parishioners Dr. Allan and Tina Burr. Allan frequently played the organ, and it has been kept in good condition in their lovely home until now. Sadly, both Tina and Allan have now passed, and their oldest daughter Ruth has offered St. Peter's a chance to reclaim this veteran organ. As St. Peter's doesn't have a suitable place for it, the Comox Museum is looking at it now with a view to giving it a permanent home in their display. The Estey Organ company was a major US organ manufacturer in the 19th and early 20th century.
