As we renew our faith in this Lenten period, we are invited to enter into the passion and suffering of Christ. In doing so we deepen our commitment to compassion, recognizing that people everywhere and our very planet are suffering. By joining in community, we come to know Christ. By focusing on compassion, we come to know Christ in ourselves, each other and our natural world. By coming together in meditation, we offer our prayer of the heart with Christ at our centre.
