The CV SPC are a non-profit Society in town that specifically supports seniors in the community, from Bowser, up to Black Creek.  They have a Friendly Visiting Program, within this program, with volunteers that are assigned to lonely, isolated seniors, they visit them on a weekly basis to help alleviate their loneliness, and give them social interaction. They receive referrals from Island Health, Physicians, other medical organizations, and family members.  The Society is supported by a large base of volunteers, and are always needing more, as their client demand is increasing with the aging population in the Valley.
